I have another bug as well making native american style flutes, I have not been able to get out with the cold so my shed was out of bounds and decided to get on with a project or two, so heres some more pictures of the battlestation so far, I am just making all the fiddly diddly bits like blocks and stropping them I did rush a bit yesterday and did them all wrong so had to pull it all off and start again LOL!!!!!!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

![]() Registered Member #764 Joined: Mon Jan 04 2010, 04:15PMPosts: 17 | ![]() ![]() ![]() these are better pictures shows up all my mistakes though LOL!!!!!!!!! the single blocks are boxwood good english box the double blocks are maple I prefer the boxwood its crisper and harder, I do have plenty ebony offcuts I will have to cut some up and make more blocks from that and deadeyes , I also have a nice chunk of lignum may try that to see what its like may be a bit brittle, next I have to make all the tools for each gun, question I have seen a painting of the top deck gun having a roof over it would that be apropriate on this model??? mick | ||
